Just did an interview with Clare Vooght for No Such Thing Magazine, in front of a fireplace at The Mitre., very nice evening

Interview with Clare Vooght
Its a fix

Well, here we are people. Despite match fixing, corruption, ball tampering, jury rigging, ringers, taking dives, the occasional golden handshake, bungs, back handers and double crossing, we are playing at 9pm at the Gladstone Arms on Lant Street in Borough. This is our untainted mecca of moral fortitude, fair play pies and bastion of good honest rock and roll. Its Saturday the 4th of December at 8pm. Its free and there are other bands too. Its our last London show until the new year so come see us and be merry before we head off on tour in Germany. Love the Icebreakers
Who are these guys?
A glimpse into the murky past of the Icebreakers. Where’s Tom’s double bass? Why is Al using a laptop and a vocoder? Why is James wearing a baseball cap? Where has Paul’s other leg gone? Has Steve transformed into a giant black column? We are so mysterious.
Only two weeks till tour
Can’t wait to get over to the fatherland and rock it out. As a treat here’s the first of many of our lonely diner Paul White.
OnFM 101.4FM Radio Session
Our live acoustic radio session for Tom Mallow’s show on OnFM 101.4 FM in Hammersmith went very well today, despite half of us ill or unavailable, check out the photo of Tom and Paul having a last minute rehearsal in the OnFM kitchen…

Need Want video
we are proud to present the video for our current single “Need Want”, which stars the wonderful Rose Leonard and was shot by our talented friend Douggy (www.douggy.com), have a look for yourself:
Tom Mansi and the Icebreakers are back!
Unleashed and out of control doing what they want, how they want on their own terms and on their own record label: “Metric Acorn Records”. The new album, Perils A Plenty, has been recorded in their own studio with the help of legendary producer and mix engineer Tony Platt (AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Bob Marley…) and comes as a follow up to the successful debut of 2008‟s album “Love on the Rails” which featured the breakthrough single “Holly”, BBC Radio 2‟s Record of the Week.
Perils A Plenty will be released in January but if you can‘t wait til then, come to one of the shows, where we will start selling pre-release copies for fans
